Co-Pastors DeWayne and Brenda Moore
Co-Pastors DeWayne and Brenda Moore have demonstrated their unwavering dedication to God and their community. Starting their journey in Menlo Park, California, under the mentorship of Dr. H.L. Bostic, the Moores have held various spiritual and practical roles within the church, including district elder, hospital chaplain, deacon, teacher, minister, financial officer, and administrator. Both are certified instructors in Mental Health First Aid counseling for teenagers. They have been married for 35 years and are blessed with five children and two grandchildren.
Minister Patti Herbst
Minister Patricia Herbst has dedicated over 35 years to spiritual leadership and compassionate care, serving as corporate secretary for two national organizations and heading several compassion care ministries within the local and national church. A professionally trained chaplain, she has served for 15 years at Kaiser Hospital in the San Francisco Bay Area and currently serves at Providence Swedish Hospital in Centralia. Her unwavering commitment to compassion shines through her active volunteer work in the "No One Dies Alone" program ensuring that no one faces their final journey alone and the "No One Alone" program providing companionship to those who are facing their hospital stay alone.
Minister Shaneka Julian
Minister Shaneka Julian has over 25 years of experience as a senior level church administrator and program manager. She has functioned on both the local and national levels, leveraging her decades of professional teaching experience to help propagate the Apostolic doctrine. She feels tremendously blessed to be a part of the AMIA church family.
