Psalm 74- Bible discussion
This morning, during our early morning Bible study, we examined a psalm written by Asaph. From this challenging psalm, we highlighted three key points to take away:
First, in this present day and time, we are the "temple" of God. 1 Corinthians 3:16 reminds us, "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?"
Second, God’s punishment is a form of His love, intended to bring correction and help us grow. Hebrews 12:6 declares, "For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth."
Third, God sometimes allows the enemy to intervene in our lives to bring us back on track. Proverbs 21:1 affirms, "The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will." We see a great example in the book of 1Kings 11:4- The Lord stirred up two adversary against King Solomon for his disobedience
May these truths encourage us to trust God's process in our life , knowing He cares deeply and works all things together for our good.

Very insightful!. Thank you for sharing those points!
